pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation") and Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic no. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amendments to certain acts (hereinafter referred to as the "Act")
Basic provisions
The controller of personal data is the company Zappertechnology EU s.r.o., Company ID: 51 729 849, Tax ID: SK2120805962, with its registered office at Hlavná 115/23A, 943 01 Štúrovo, Slovak Republic, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Nitra, File No.: 46030/N, Section: Sro (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller"). Personal data means all information about an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, a network identifier, or to one or more specific elements of the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
The controller has not appointed a data protection officer. In case of any questions regarding personal data, the data subject may contact the operator at info@zappertechnology.me.
Scope of personal data
We minimize the scope of personal data we process so that they are sufficient for the quality performance of the services you expect from us, to meet legal obligations and so that we protect our legitimate interests.
The operator processes personal data provided by the data subject or personal data obtained by the operator on the basis of the fulfillment of the order of the person concerned, i.e. on the basis of a concluded contract. These are the identification and contact details of the person concerned and the data necessary for the performance of the contract.
For the purpose of purchasing goods through the e-shop and delivering goods, the operator processes the following categories of personal data of the customer:
- basic data, which are your name and surname, or title, postal address, or Company ID, VAT ID, VAT ID
- contact details, such as your e-mail, telephone number, or contact address
- records of e-mail communication, records of telephone calls, or other communication with you in electronic or written form
- transaction data, in particular information about your payments and payment methods
- IP address, cookies
Personal data are processed during the period of performance of the contract for the purchase of goods and during the warranty period for the delivered goods.
Legal bases and purpose of personal data processing
The legal basis (legal ground) for the processing of personal data is:
- Performance of the contract between the data subject and the operator pursuant to § 13 par. 1 letter b) of the Act. The personal data of the person concerned, which the controller processes for the purpose of processing orders and fulfilling the obligations arising from the contract concluded between the data subject and the operator, are: name and surname, postal and e-mail address and telephone number of the person concerned. The legal basis for the processing of this voluntarily provided data is the fulfillment of the rights and obligations arising from the aforementioned contract, which would otherwise not be possible to conclude.
- The legitimate interest of the operator (in the event of withdrawal from the contract or exchange of goods by the data subject, for keeping the operator's accounts). The personal data of the person concerned, which the operator processes for the purpose of withdrawal from the contract or exchange of goods by the data subject, are: name, surname, postal address, or account number. The legal basis for the processing of such personal data is the legitimate interest of the controller in fulfilling the rights and obligations arising from the distance contract. Personal data of the person concerned, which the operator processes for the purpose of bookkeeping, are: name and surname, postal address, account number.
- Consent of the person concerned to the processing of personal data pursuant to § 13 par. 1 letter a) of the Act (for the purposes of correspondence with the operator via the contact form), if no order of goods has been placed. The personal data of the data subject, which the operator processes in the case of correspondence via the contact form, are: name and surname and email address. Personal data that will be voluntarily provided to the operator as part of the use of the contact form will not be published and serve solely for the purpose of answering the question or suggestion of the data subject by the operator.
- Registration and operation of the e-shop - Zappertechnology EU s.r.o. processes the following personal data for the purpose of registration and operation of the e-shop: name, surname, telephone number, email address, address and order history. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The processing of personal data by Zappertechnology EU s.r.o. is necessary to ensure registration in the e-shop and e-shop operation. Personal data are processed for the duration of registration in the e-shop.
- Provision of telephone and email support to customers - Zappertechnology EU s.r.o. processes the following personal data of customers for the purpose of providing telephone and email support: name, surname, telephone number, email address, address, order history. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6 (a) (b) of the GDPR. The processing of personal data by Zappertechnology EU s.r.o. is necessary to provide support. The recipient of personal data is Zappertechnology EU s.r.o. Personal data are processed for the duration of the warranty period of the purchased goods.
In order to properly fulfill all legal obligations, the operator also processes personal data for the purposes of bookkeeping, registry administration, for the purpose of recording received and sent mail or handling complaints and complaints. In some cases, personal data also need to be processed for litigation and out-of-court debt collection.
The purposes of personal data processing are the reasons for which the personal data of data subjects are processed in the controller's information systems on well-defined legal bases. The purposes are specifically determined, explicitly stated and legitimate, while when processing the personal data of the persons concerned, the controller complies with the principle of legality according to Articles 6 and 9 of the Regulation.
Sales and business activities
We carry out processing for the purpose of concluding a contract and its performance, in particular for the receipt and registration of an order, order processing, sending goods, issuing a document, resolving complaints or withdrawals from the contract and publishing partners on our website.
Warranty and post-warranty service
We carry out processing for the purpose of resolving complaints, in particular for the receipt and registration of a service order, processing a service order, issuing a document, dealing with withdrawal from the contract, warranty and post-warranty service of products.
Provision of ancillary technical services
Training
We carry out processing for the purpose of issuing a certificate of your successful completion of our professional training.
Invoicing and accounting
Your personal data are processed mainly on the basis of the Accounting Act. The category of beneficiaries is represented by accounting offices and tax advisors (externally). Personal data are processed for the period required by applicable law.
Transportation
We carry out processing for the purpose of delivery of the ordered goods to the customer's address through delivery companies (courier company, Slovenská pošta, a.s.).
There is no automated individual decision-making within the meaning of §28 of the Act on the part of the operator. This means that the controller does not process personal data to analyze the characteristics or characteristics of the data subject related, in particular, to his performance at work, property situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior.
Retention period of personal data
- If the data subject agrees, we will process your data until you withdraw your consent, but no longer than 24 months from its granting (orders, price offers..)
- In case of a legitimate interest, we will process your personal data for a period that is justified in relation to the life cycle of the purchased product or service in order to offer and provide you with related products and services (documents related to service repairs and claims..)
- In the case of performance of the contract, we will process your personal data for the period for which the contractual relationship lasts, including warranty and complaint conditions
- If we comply with a legal obligation, we will process your personal data for the period required by law. In the case of the Accounting Act, the VAT Act, etc., the period may be 10 years
Rights of data subjects
When processing your personal data, the controller is ready to exercise your rights. You can exercise your rights by email at info@zappertechnology.me. We will respond to your request free of charge within 30 days of receipt of the request.
- You have the right to access your personal data, as well as the right to know for what purpose they are processed, who are the recipients of your personal data, what is the processing time
- You have the right to rectification, if your personal data is incorrect or has changed, please contact us, we will correct them
- You have the right to erasure of personal data if it is incorrect or processed unlawfully
- If your personal data is processed on the basis of consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent granted prior to its withdrawal
- You have the right to restrict processing, if you wish, we will process the data only for the most compelling legal reasons, or not at all
- You have the right to data portability, if you wish to transfer it to another controller, we will provide it to you in the appropriate format, unless other technical or legal obstacles prevent this

Recipients of personal data (subcontractors of the controller)
Recipients of personal data are persons
- involved in the delivery of goods/services/execution of payments
- providing services of e-shop operation
- providing services related to the management of accounting agenda (external accountant)
- service partners, suppliers, courier or transport company that ensures the delivery of goods to the customer as an operator or intermediary
Privacy Policy
The operator declares that he has taken all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.
The operator has taken technical measures to secure data repositories and personal data repositories in paper form. Work PCs are protected by antivirus software and password-protected from unauthorized access. To protect personal data, we make backups that are encrypted. We store paper documents in a locker.
The operator declares that only persons authorized by him have access to personal data.
Final provisions
The possibility of purchasing goods offered on the operator's website is not intended for visitors under 16 years of age.
By sending an order from the online order form, the person concerned confirms that he has been acquainted with the conditions of personal data protection and that he accepts them in full.
The data subject agrees with these conditions by ticking the consent via the online form. By ticking the consent, the data subject confirms that he has read the conditions of personal data protection and that he accepts them in full.
The operator is entitled to change these conditions. It will publish the new version of the privacy policy on its website.
